Vigilant Cloud helps support Harvest India by sending one of our own.

One of Vigilant Technologies own, Yvonne Esparza is in India on a humanitarian mission. Through the help of Vigilant Technologies,

CornerStone Church and the countless other that have helped and supported either through direct donations or Yvonne's own bake sales to raise funds. We want to thank you!

While Yvonne is there she could be helping in the following areas:

·         A Leprosy Awareness Camp–Here we will pray with them and give food to them.
·         An Elderly Home-Which we will pray with women who had been abandoned by their families.
·         A Medical Camp- Where we will help pass-out medicines and pray with the people who are sick.
·         A Mercy Camp-Where we hand out food to about 300 kids.
·         Witnessing at the Red-Light district-This is where women are sold into prostitution.
·         Visiting a Nursing Center & The Hope Care Center-This is a HIV/AIDS hospice.

Harvest India believes the path to freedom is beautifully articulated in 1 John 3:18: “Let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and truth.”

Through actions Harvest India believes that relationships are established, love is given, and the truth of Christ is shared in powerful ways.  Much like William Booth, the founder of Salvation Army preached “soup, soap, and salvation’” as an organization we do this in four key areas:

Mercy Ministries
Orphan Care
Education
Sharing the Gospel

Their strategy is to be intentional whether distributing food, or caring for an orphan for 1 day or for their entire life, or running an academic calendar in a major institution, or doing a major outreach in an unreached village. Not only are they looking to meet the “right now” needs, but they are looking to invite each person they encounter to be a part of a community so that they can experience true life change. They want them to know that they matter and that they are loved. It tangibly looks like having young pastors trained in their Bible Colleges, so that after a Mercy Camp there is a pastor visiting or living in that area, ready to follow up with those we treat. We not only want to care for the physical needs but the emotional and spiritual as well.
