Vigilant’s momentum continues to grow, with the company’s selection by Catalyst Campus to join the 2020 Data Fusion Accelerator program! This accelerator is specifically aimed at companies that are working to deal with information analysis and data fusion to provide insight into the growing problem of objects in space, as the number of objects being sent into Earth orbit in support of commercial and defense programs is growing exponentially.

     This accelerator program is sponsored by Microsoft, which is underwriting the award with $15,000 to cover the cost of placing a Vigilant representative on site at Catalyst Campus throughout the term of the program, which runs from Jan. 7 to April 3, 2020. Participating companies will have office space set aside at Catalyst Campus, and will participate in a range of accelerator workshops, customer discovery activities and networking events. The Air Force will also provide us with “Sherpas” – essentially customer liaisons for the Air Force and for commercial entities who can help navigate the complicated world of connecting technology with the people who can most make use of it. The purpose of the program is to help the participating companies grow their customer base and accelerate their market penetration

     Vigilant’s successful pitch to be included in this program comes hard on the heels of the company’s SBIR Phase II win earlier this month, giving Vigilant a chance to expand the potential for that product development in a very real way, and paving the way for significant growth in 2020!
